Busking in a non-urban environment

Camp fire tips

  • Don’t sit too close to a camp fire (it’s too tempting for others).

  • Refrain from playing any John Denver songs in the proximity of a bonfire. That’s just too… camp!

  • Sometimes people just want to talk while sitting down and roasting marsh mallows, not everyone is waiting for you to start a merry sing-a-long.

  • Beware of signs of annoyance of your fellow campers while playing, stop before they choose to add your guitar to the fire.

  • Don’t bother people with “a new song you just wrote”
